The Amazing Color Changing Card Trick

This YouTube Video titled "The Amazing Color Changing Card Trick" demonstrates a principle of psychology called inattentional blindness in order to fool the eye and the mind.

It's fascinating that this psychology demonstration is staged as a magic trick. It implicitly demonstrates how aspects of psychology can be used as the foundation for building magic tricks. In magic, what they're doing here might broadly be called misdirection. The very term means that the mind's attention can be "directed" and exploited.

I'm also a sucker for the format they used to do this - perform the trick once, and then perform the trick a second time from a different perspective that allows the viewer to see what is really happening. This is the Penn and Teller approach.
